New Limestone Surrounds and Cast Iron Inserts!
Oh my, what an exciting year this has been so far both here at Victorian Fireplaces and at home! At home we have had the arrival of baby Joshua who is a beautiful little charmer getting spoilt rotten. Then here at Victorian Fireplaces we have had the launch of 4 new wooden surrounds exclusively handmade in England for us, the addition of 7 new staff members and a new delivery van.
Now at long last we have got some new Agean limestone surrounds in various sizes to compliment our wooden range and to provide smaller surrounds for those of you wanting a smaller fireplace. To add to this we have also received a new cast iron insert (The Oxford Arch) which is designed to compliment a 42″ fireplace surround.
The Abingdon
The Abingdon is an Agean Limestone surround which resembles our best selling Bedford wooden fire surround. It is available in 3 sizes, 42″ shelf, 48″ shelf and 54″ shelf. The picture below shows a 54″ Abingdon with a black polished Lytton insert and is available to buy here.

Fireplace in Guest house
Mr and Mrs Crombie from New Rd Guest house have just taken delivery of a Kingston fireplace with electric fire, Beautiful fireplace made from the finest Carrara marble I am sure you will agree a truly stunning fireplace.
Our customers will forward some pictures when it has been fitted, its nice to see the end result. Especially when its such a lovely fireplace as this is.

We had a customer ring yesterday with an enquiry for a small Georgian style fireplace, the customer only wanted a very small fireplace she liked the Combination cast iron fireplaces but preferred the fireplace to have a mantel.
The Roundel pine mantel can be made any size but looks best at 44 to 54 inches wide and at these sizes can be put with any arch insert that we have. The Reeded pine mantel can be made any size, and is another good choice for a small Georgian style fireplace.
All the these fireplaces can be used for solid fuel , gas or electric fires.
