Our New Mercedes Sprinter Van from H & L Garages Lincoln, arrived this morning. It will complement our other Sprinter Van nicely, on there very long trips up and down the country. Its maiden voyage was down to Suffolk this afternoon, and tomorrow its first trip overseas to the Isle of Wight, nice little run for it.

As promised I have taken a photo of our new van livery, we just got it back late afternoon approx 4.30pm, and just got a picture in before it got dark.

Its off to  South Wales, Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire tomorrow Saturday. Very early start in the rain and wind so the weather men say, sounds like its going to be a rough day all round with the weather.

Our new van has arrived late last Friday afternoon.

To give it a bit of a run I went up to Scotland on Saturday, with just 4 deliveries along the west coast around Troon then up to Dunbarton then dropped down and finished off in Bishop Auckland then home,  650 mile round trip.

I put a few extras in this factory delivered Mercedes Sprinter Van from H & L Garages Lincoln, one thing we all agree on is that the cruise control is very good on the motorway, one of the luxuries that some cars have,  it should be standard on all vans I think. We haven't had time to give it a paint job yet, but hopefully on Friday we might have something sorted. I don't like looking at a brilliant white van especially a very large one like this Mercedes,  much better with some fireplaces on it.

As for the weekend I will be off to Wales and Devon this Saturday so keep your eyes peeled I will post a picture of the new paint job hopefully Friday night after I have loaded it up. Eddie is trying it out today driving through London. It will be in Suffolk and Kent tomorrow, Wiltshire and Southampton Wednesday, and on Thursday should be in Surrey and Sussex as you can see it won't be resting much.
