These beautifully styled doors are 3kg heavier on average compared to the raised and fielded panel version.
They are indeed a piece of fitted furniture with their flat panels and raised heavy beading. All pine doors are selected from top quality stocks with an engineered side rail which helps reduce warping and twisting.
Finishing
All doors as standard come unfinished how ever we can supply a finishing service which comprimises of:-
The doors are treated with 'Van Dyke' stain which affects the surface of the pine to give an authentic period feel and look.
Later, high grade wax is painstakingly applied by hand to give this product its original deep lustre.
All that is needed to maintain this 'Patina' is a light wax once a year.
