Fitting a traditional fireplace unfortunately isn't as simple as screwing it to a wall, we always recommend you seek professional help to install your new fireplace. In fact to install a working gas or open fire (solid fuel) it is a legal requirement that you have a professional install the fireplace. If the fireplace is going to be used decoratively or as an electric fireplace you can install the fireplace yourself and hopefully our guides will serve as a useful reference to carry out the work.
